Seminar: Pensar el Presente | Reflecting on the present
``Reflecting on the present`` a seminar coordinated by Andrea Soto and Alejandro Guerrero at ForA in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico. ForA is an initiative that has been successfully developing since 2021, independent from schools or public institutions. Its main objective is to offer quality content through lectures, seminars, courses and exhibitions on architecture.

Our course aims to value diverse approaches within the contemporary practice of architecture, which allow us to have a broad panorama of action within our discipline, and in this way, contribute to our own understanding of the present moment in which we live.

Arquitecturas del Fuego I & II, a book written by Alejandro Guerrero
The publication of ``Arquitecturas del Fuego I & II`` arises from the collaboration between two projects that share the city of Guadalajara as headquarters; on the one hand Artlecta bookstore, and on the other the Galimatías collective group.
Our project Levering Trade has been published in the book named RADICAL.
Arquine.

This book gathers 50 projects built in Latin America between 2010 and 2015 by architects or groups of architects under 50 years. The sample is based on the architectures of public use, in a period where participatory processes and community relations that allow the construction of spaces as references within the continent and suggest radical positions in the ways of doing contemporary architecture stand out.

Novasem selected to be featured in the Mexican Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2018.
Our project for a memorial in Novasem, an industrial facility located in Acatlán de Juárez Jalisco, has been selected among 213 proposals to be part of the Mexican Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2018. We are looking forward to develop a research about funerary architecture in México, working with the curators and the rest of the architects selected, to showcase the richness of our funerary tradition.
Novasem won Silver Medal.
Our industrial and landscape project for a corn company, located in the outskirts of Guadalajara, won a Silver Medal in the National and International Mexican Architecture Biennial. We are grateful with our extraordinary clients who made this project possible. We are looking forward to keep on working on the next stage of this project.
